Christmas Season in Mangalore He.He.He

 Watch Video: Click Here Mangalore, Nov 16: Kasturba Medical College (KMC) and Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCDOS) in the city organized Christmas carols at the St Sebastian Church Hall in Bendore, on Sunday November 15.

Both the colleges had organized the event to celebrate Christmas. The colleges have been conducting this event over the past three years with the effort of students and faculty members.
The students incorporated skits and chorus which made it spectacular with the added charm of instrumental music and acting.

















Dr Surendra Shetty, dean of MCDOS, addressed the gathering and said that the city celebrates Christmas with a lot of faith and tradition.
“The celebration of the holy festival made college students think of celebrating in a unique way”, he said.

The skit was directed by Dr Sharath Krishnamurthy and instrumental music was by Dr Sourjya Banerjee and Konish Biswas. Musician Oscar Wealtha gave training in chorus and music.  

Dr Vivian D’Souza, professor and head of the department of biochemistry, KMC, was the Santa Claus.

Dr Christopher Pais, professor and head of medicine, KMC, welcomed all. Dr Maria Kuruvilla, professor and head of department of skin, KMC, deivered the keynote address. 
Dr Thangam Varghese, professor and head of surgery, KMC, gave the message. Dr John Ramapuram, professor in medicine, KMC, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Karen Boaz, professor and head in MCODOS, conducted the programme.
