The Doctor Dies at ‘The End of Time’ This Christmas

No, that’s not a spoiler headline. Anyone who doesn’t know David Tennant’s 10th Doctor is about to punch out permanently in this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special isn’t a fan of the show, never reads this blog and has generally lived in a hole for the past six months.

And if you don’t want to take my word for it that The Doctor will regenerate by 2010, he’ll tell you so himself in the trailer above.

Tennant’s final stand-alone Who story aired this past weekend on BBC1. After “The Waters of Mars” dried up, fans got their first look at the broadcast preview for the first half of the year-end series climax, “The End of Time.” As for American viewers, they can get a taste of “Waters” on BBC America on Dec. 19 at 9 p.m., ET/PT.
