Officers have been looking for offenders "who cause the most harm" and who could strike again over the festive season.
A gun has been recovered and arrests have been made in connection with robbery, GBH, drugs offences, burglary and theft.
Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt is with officers from Kent Police, who have been searching properties.
He said: "Most crimes are falling in Kent but they anticipate a rise in acquisitive crime in the run-up to Christmas - as do most police forces.
"This is an attempt to nip that in the bud.
"They're targetting robbers and thieves who have been active recently and who they think might be planning to commit crimes as Christmas approaches.
"The people I saw arrested were aggressive and noisy but didn't appear to offer much resistance."
At one address in Rochester, police arrested a man and a woman suspected of robbing a local supermarket at knifepoint.
Assistant Chief Constable Alan Pughsley said four people stole about £5,000 worth of cigarettes and cash from the store in September.
