Nativity! to get film fans in the Christmas mood

With Christmas less than a month away, cinemas across the country will be getting into the festive spirit this weekend as new film Nativity! opens.

Starring Martin Freeman, it is the tale of a primary school teacher who accidently, on purpose, tells a teacher from the rival school Hollywood producers are coming to watch his Nativty.

Freeman heads up an all-star British cast which includes Extras and Ugly Betty actress Ashley Jensen and comedian Alan Carr.

The film was made by Confetti director Debbie Isitt.

According to Isitt, working with so many children was not a problem, she said the donkey caused a few headaches though.

"They were meant to be trained animals but they were absolutely useless."
