PC Holidays, Some Wonder Where's "Christmas?"

DENVER -- Pro-Family advocacy group, The American Family Association or AFA, said they have a problem with Gap's new advertising campaign.

The campaign mentions Christmas but encourages people to have a "Happy Whateveryouwannakah."

"AFA believes this ad to be completely dismissive and disrespectful to those who celebrate the meaning and spirit of Christmas," said Randy Sharp, American Family Association.

Gap said the ad is not meant to be disrespectful. In a statement, the company said the brand has always been an "inclusive, accessible brand."

Still, AFA is asking consumers to boycott the store this Christmas and has set-up a Website petition.

When 7NEWS asked people what they thought about "Whateveryouwannakah", the reactions were mixed.

"Everything is PC about everything," said Vicky Greer.

"I think its funny," said Suzanne Wilson.

Gap said they would have more commercials rolling out before Christmas that would include a Christmas message.
