Last month the 68-year-old released "Christmas in the Heart," a collection of traditional holiday classics, including "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Little Drummer Boy" and "The First Noel."
On Wednesday, a music video of Dylan's polka-inspired take on "Must Be Santa" was posted on YouTube. The festive-theme of the video is arguably a bit bizarre, with the "Blowin' in the Wind" crooner donning different hats and seeming quite out of place, while crazed Christmas revelers dance and party around him.
It's sort of unclear if Dylan - a devout Christian - was aiming to celebrate the holiday, or gently poke fun at the music's Norman Rockwell-esque simplicity.
The singer's "Christmas in the Heart" collection is aimed at raising money for charity. Royalties in different countries will be directed to specific groups: Feeding America from US sales; United Nations' World Food Programme and Crisis from UK sales.
"That the problem of hunger is ultimately solvable means we must each do what we can to help feed those who are suffering," Dylan told the Daily Mirror back in September.
